I began noticing Fisty popping up in various threads and avatars, seemingly, not that long ago. Realizing that I had missed something somewhat monumental, I began trying to piece together his history. However, it appears that I'm still missing quite a bit.

I read the Chiefs tattoo thread, but he had already risen to prominence by that time. I've seen various iterations that include other bits of pop culture (the basketball fan-kid). However, I still can't figure out where it all started. Any information/citation would be greatly appreciated.

The tattoo was the start of it. Dude posted up his half-finished Chiefs tattoo, but he was smart enough to crop out his head and just show his torso. He, quickly, realized he made a mistake and tried to take it down when people started making fun of his tattoo immediately. One of the assholes on here, hilariously, captured the photo and begin putting up photoshops of it. Before long, someone made the Fisty photoshop, and then it all began.

The Fist and subsequent mustache, etc. made it's first appearance in the Epic Fail thread.

Yep. the fist was awesome by itself so the addition of the torso just put the whole thing over the top.

Yeah Fistystash was first. He was then later added to the Tattoo.

The fist is actually Pestilence hand. He and Sofa had a discussion in the epic win thread about how hard that was. Pest said it was easy, sofa challenged him, and pest posted a pic of his hand in that position.
