Sporting Kansas City was eliminated from MLS Cup contention after losing to Houston 2-1 aggreagate over the span of two games. They finished the year as US Open Cup Champions and a Kansas City team record of 63 points.

I love watching this team when they are playing like themselves, when they are playing up to their potential. Even if this were a 0-0 tie at half I would be so proud to have this team in KC. They are dominating possession, they are physical without being dirty, they are actually creating chances in the run of play again (!), and Kamara in particular is pulling off plays that almost no one else in MLS can pull off.

I can tell this is not a sport I should watch on TV but rather in person. I find myself too easily distracted away from the game.

Of course, it would help if I didn't have to watch on my computer.

You gotta' learn how to watch the game away from the ball. I mean, I'm still learning that, but making myself aware of just how dynamic and fluid the game is makes it hold my complete attention.

Watching them run up and down the field makes me feel dog tired.

That wouldn't help me as my computer is my link to CP. I need a completely separate source for the game so I can have both up at the same time without having to sacrifice a bunch of screen space.

That is why I say I should see it in person. I can see the whole field then and not just what the camerman is looking at.

Watching in person is a completely different experience than watching on tv. To appreciate the shape and tactics, you have to see games in person. Also, it's just more fun too.

Zusi was close there. San Jose seems to have stopped worrying about containing Chance Meyers so much. That could prove interesting.

Look, I know that San Jose is missing their most potent offensive threats. It's showing in this game. But the Earthquakes weren't expected to look this poor on defense. SKC's size advantage is significant.
