I don't get it either.

Must be all the titles our two schools share.

Perusing those nifty rivals rankings lead me to why you didn't answer earlier. Seems like you'll be smelling toilets instead of oranges.

Just how I am.

But if you're into it then go for it.
Getting to a final four without winning a Championship is like making out with a girl and only getting to third base. While nice, it is not enough. I guess you are satisfied with a Final Four appearance. I would be disappointed if it did not end up with winning a championship.

The Rivals rankings don't include transfers. KU has two 4* star and one 5* star coming in this season so I don't know what to tell you.

It's been discussed before, maybe try and keep up.

Yes it was disappointing but provided for a thrilling month of excitement and that's what I'm in this for.

I'm a fan. I don't work for the university. Money made from tv contracts and conference affiliation doesn't come to me.

Other people in this thread seem to put all their energy into that stuff. I like trophies.

Yes, winning a championship is an amazing feeling.

I don't know, MU fans were bragging all season how now MU was better than KU in football and basketball. I felt pretty good that this team that wasn't as good as MU made it to the championship game. Sure you want to win it all, but getting to the final four is pride worthy.

That's it? In over 100 years of basketball tradition that is it? For a school that cares about nothing but basketball that is pretty paltry. Oh well, I guess you can brag about KU dominance with thatg amazing record in Final Fours. 17 appearances and only 3 championships. 17% of the time they make it they win. Awesome!

huh?

Kansas has multiple national championships in multiple sports and BCS in their background.

Basketball is hardly KU's sole focus.

But I guess having one focus is better than well.....none.

I was kidding about MU fans complaining that KU fans bring up KU basketball any chance they get, but while we're here, this is just awful smack talk.

Isn't it funny as down a year KU had in sports that it still has been one of the most inspirational?

If this is a down year then damn...it's nice to be a KU fan.

If it was just a BOT response, then maybe I'd agree with you. But Clemson's coach had very strong and specific comments on how leaving for the Big 12 would be bad for Clemson. Show me another situation where a coach for a school considering leaving said something so strong?

FSU's president publicly mocked the Big 12. Show me another school president that did that when his school was considering going to a conference?

Congrats!

Where are their other NC's? Other than debate that is as I see those signs as I drive through Kansas on my way to Missouri. The got lucky one year by dodging everybody of significance in football (besides a Missouri team the soundly beat them) and got an Orange Bowl they did not deserve over a team that was better and had beaten them and people. Whatever. KU is a basketball school and that is their "priority" as per you and they have 3 NC's in over 100 years. That is pathetic based off of the "KU pedigree".
