Cassel did, does, and will always suck
I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

You don't know what the final product of 2012 is going to be.

All we know right now is that yes, the 2011 team won 7 games, largely due in part to the fact that they faced 5 horrible quarterbacks.

Since we aren't facing 5 horrible quarterbacks this season, trying to extrapolate 2012 based on 2011 is faulty reasoning.

Last year's team was clearly not a legit 7-win team.

It's kind of like saying the 1995 Chiefs were a legit 13-win team. They were not nearly as good as their record implied.

I'd say last year's team was more akin to what most 4-12 teams are.

So, add back the players we lost last year, and we're probably a 7-9/8-8 team this year.
