Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

Just ignore last season. I don't know why anyone is even talking about it.

We have a quarterback who can't beat good football teams (even when he was in New England), we play a lot of good football teams. That's all that matters.

I agree. Last season is meaningless for this year.

Charles will rape those below average AFC West defenses. Hell, they'd have swept Oakland and Denver with him last year.

We lost 4 games to Oakland, Denver and San Diego in 2010 with Charles playing the entire season.

By the same token, we got our asses handed to us in the season opener last year with a healthy Charles playing the whole game.

This is a passing league.

1 game was at the end of the season with the division wrapped up, and the other Croyle started.

It's not like the Chiefs weren't trying to win both of those games.

Sitting here saying "we will win these games just because of Charles!" is stupid.

Matt Cassel is capable of sabotaging the entire team, Jamaal Charles included.

And if you don't believe me, just look at the 2010 game against the Bills, with the entire team kicking ass, and the Chiefs almost losing because of Cassel.

I'm not so sure they tried to win the game in SD.

Did you see it? I don't think a single pass play of more than 10 yards was called.

There was one game in 2010, (the Rams) that I feel Cassel won for us. Sure it's the only one I can recall, but still.
