A president should remain limited to two terms but...

... they should not be allowed to serve them consecutively.

Obama's administration removing federal immigration support from the state of Arizona only re-enforces my belief that a sitting president should not be allowed to run for the office during the following election. I honestly and truly believe that his actions are little more than for the purpose of securing the hispanic vote in this coming election.

I don't like Romney any more than I like Obama but if I have to choose between a giant douche who supports state's rights to secure their borders, and a turd sandwich more interested in politicking than defending the welfare of the citizens who elected him.... then giant douche it is.

Not allowing a sitting president to use his office as a campaigning tool would squash a bunch of this bullshit.

I don't know sportshrinks MO as I hardly spend any time in this subforum at all. I understand that you were not speaking directly at me with that reply. I was making a comment about your reply. Every time I come across a political discussion... it typically degrades into Moonbat v RWNJ. I don't understand your, and other's, attack via over exaggeration and jump to conclusions mentality.

Lastly, you are absolutely a ****wit.
Please show me where I attacked anyone in my original comment. You know the one you got so butthurt over. It was a generalization about people wanting the rules changed to suit their needs but not showing that same outrage when it's their guy.

In fact, the only statement that was remotely attacking to you was my "manlove" comment. However, you continue with the name calling that, as you stated, you don't like.

Personally, I could care less. I have felt that you and I weren't going to be buddies from day 1, but you seem to have this thing for me. I won't allow you to bring me to your level, so good day sir.

A thing for you? This is one of the few interactions we have had that I have any real recollection of, aside from the tebow/quinn thread. Not trying to be insulting insinuating that you are below me or anything but seriously... where else have we clashed?

I'm sorry you feel that we weren't gonna be buddies since way back in 2006 when I first joined. Don't know what I did to give you that impression way back when but it is what it is.

Good day to you as well, sir.

An assumption was made by me that they were related (after all, they are in the same OP.) If they are related, which I believe them to be, then that is paramount to my statement, which in laymans terms means everyone wants to get rid of the guy you don't like, but there's no outrage otherwise.

This you replied with calling me a ****wit. Three posts later you're outraged by name calling.

In terms of the zombie, etc. statement I made that wasn't so directed at you but at sportshrinks MO. If you can't see that, then you don't need to talk politics, you need a prescription.

So my advice is to get over yourself.

....but they're not removing support. They're telling Arizona," you can have your law. You can even try and enforce it. We just won't accept anyone that comes from something that is incosistent with our guidelines for deportation."

The feds aren't going to stop deporting people from Az. They're just not going to accept illegals caught under the papers please law.

I'd certainly call it removing support.

And Obama looks pretty petty considering the SC reaffirmed AZ's right to ask for proof of citizenship. Obama is in effect going around the SC.

You can call it what you like but the Federal Government is still in charge of immigration law. They choose where to deploy their resources. Even before they announced the end of this program, they were still using their priority guidelines for illegals. If the person wasn't a felon, or a threat, they got to it when they got to it.

Also, the SC affirmed their right to ask about citizenship if a person is being detained or arrested. They're not allowed to initiate stops based on them thinking someone is illegal. It won't take long until Arizona ****s this up.

So you are saying that it's OK that the illegals are breaking the law and you are accusing law enforcement of maybe, possibly breaking the law and you stand behind the president by circumventing the constitution?

How ****ed up is that.

Its amazing how you (and others) don't seem to get this. There is no circumventing the constitution.

There are estimated to be 12 million illegals in the US right now. The resources do not exist to go out and search for every one of these people and adjudicate all of their cases. So, there has to be priorities. Those priorities include going after the ones that are violent, committing felonies, or causing some other sort of trouble. It the same reason why your local police force uses more resources to find a murderer instead of a jaywalker. Both are illegal, but one is a bit more urgent.

Oh I get it.

I can also see how Obama is using the fed to disregard the law. And think Romney should beat him over the head continually with it.

Your blind trust of Obama is admirable. But, he is still going around congress at every opportunity. It's been said on other threads that if Obama is re-elected that may be the last free election we will ever have. Somehow I don't see that as a large stretch of the imagination.

It has nothing to do with trust, just facts. The president doesn't need congressional approval for everything.

What you do not get you ****ing simpleton is getting this under control is rather simple. Place serious fines and possible jail time on those caught hiring illegals. Take away the jobs, and deport them as you catch them. Put a serious effort to control the boarder. The government uses this (there are just too many here to round them all up) excuse, because they want them here. As far as Barry he is just the first of the pig ****ers that run this country to openly pander for the votes attached to this nonsense~

Because in his 2nd term, he will see to it that there are no more elections, or so the theory goes. Of course, with that kind of power, you would think he would just cancel the upcoming elections and not risk losing the election.

So simple. And why didn't the Rs do all this? Since Obama is the first to pander on the issue, I wonder how and when all those people got here in the first place.
