***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

The only team Manning had that was better than this Denver team was the one with Harrison, Wayne, Stokely, Clark, and E. James and that team had a dreadful defense.

Manning has always had better weapons and o line. And the Denver D isn't exactly the orange crush.

24th in the NFL, yet Slowmo thinks they are the 85 Bears

The Chiefs have a better "team" than the Broncos. Everyone in the media was saying that when Manning was looking for his soul mate.

Most of Denver's wins last year were possible because the D kept us in it while the offense was still figuring things out. The offense literally did nothing until the 4th quarter most games.

They aren't the 85 Bears but they are infinitely better than NE's, NO's, and GB's defense and our offense is better than the Ravens' and Steelers'.

The broncos were roundhoused by the pats in the playoffs. If you really think manning can put up 40+ points with derilium tremins and eric decker you need to get your head checked. If they manage to make it to the playoffs they will likely have to contend with

New england-super bowl runnerups with better offensive weapons and better defensive players

Pittsburgh- top 5 defense and big ben

Balt- top 5 defense

Texans- shaub, andre, arian

Then theres the jets, bengals, chargers, possibly us, ect.

You might make it past the first round if you draw a team like the bengals, jets, or us (matt cassel)

Green bays defense led the league in interceptions and they fell victim to being ahead in the game most of the time.

And if you get good flacco and healthy ben i would put them ahead of denver.

Interceptions can be misleading. Teams had to try to keep up with the Packers offense so they took more risks. NE was #2 in picks.

Last time we saw Denver's D, they were getting thier shit pushed in by the Patriots. Had nothing to do with the offense, they just couldn't stop em.

The first time Denver played NE they were up 17-3 until the second quarter then we turned the ball over on 4 straight possessions on our side of the field.

Hmmm

Question

If the nerves are totally healed and regenerated and his neck is 100%...why did Schefter say there are 5 or 6 kinds of throws he simply can no longer make?

Schefter is usually a big Donk supporter.

Maybe because Manning is older. Elway couldn't make some of the throws at 36 that he could make at 30.

He made those throws just fine last time he played.

Are you foolishly trying to say his age, and not the nerves and surgeries, are to blame?

You yourself just got done saying he is as healthy as ever and the last few years he played with major injuries that are now corrected...

He better hope he doesn't get happy feet by fearing getting hit because of trust issues with his own recovery.
