Diehard Fan Builds 2 Million Dollar Batcave
You will require years of training and nerves of steel if you want to become Batman, but to get your very own batcave all you need is $2 million of disposable income. A diehard Batman fan is having a home theatre constructed which will resemble the Dark Knight's cave. The cave is being built by Elite Home Theater Seating and is decked with a batcomputer, Tumbler, cape and cowl, secret passages, sound effects, gargoyles, a 180 inch screen, and even a Bat-themed elevator for those urgent situation when the stairs just wont do. The following images are a CGI mock-up of what the cave will finally look like. ![]() Here is a shot with the bookcases open, revealing the Batmobile in a hidden secret room, complete with its own tunnel exit. ![]() And if you thought most of these are just dummy models, then think again! There is also a separate study which acts as the entrance to the hidden cinema. The study, complete with a stately grandfather clock, is flanked by bookshelves upon which sits a bust of William Shakespeare, the head of which must be turned clockwise to swing open the hidden door behind the grandfather clock. This is the entrance to the elevator. A real fingerprint scan is also required to gain access to the elevator. Beyond this, you need to press a Batsymbol button to begin the descent into the cave while flashing lights and graphics indicate your body is being scanned. Once you have been identified as rightful visitors, a female robotic voice will announce "Security Clearance Granted". Inside there are 6 bat-suits on display and a life-size replica of the Tumbler. ![]() Elite HTS executive Bobby Bala told Daily Mail, "The Dark Knight themed custom home theater was actually a design concept we did free of charge for one of our previous clients, mainly just for fun. Personally, I'm a huge Batman fan and with a background in CG animation, we were able to finish up the design within a couple weeks." ![]() Bookcases open shows off the super cool Tumbler ![]() |

Shit I'd add some Tim Burton Batman elements too (Tim Burton's Batmobile > Tumbler)

If you're a person who admires practicality, the tumbler totally owns it. The first time I saw it before Batman Begins my initial reaction was "Wow. That's... practical!" I thought the plots and characters of Burton's batman films were bad, but the stage he set was amazing. The sets and props (including the impractical batmobile) were visually awesome. |

Awesome Batcave, but why have the tumbler if you can't drive it? Wait, he can't drive it, right?
