Game of Thrones *Spoiler* Thread

There's been some recent confusion with the old spoiler thread, so I'm kicking off a new one for tonight's premiere. This is going to be the one for folks who've read all the books. So anything anybody might want to talk about is in bounds. Suffice to say, if you haven't read the books, you'll probably want to stay out of here until you do...

I'll bump the old spoiler-free thread shortly in case anybody's interested. For future reference the link to that one is here

I would not say this about anything when it comes to GRRM. That being said, it seems somewhat likely that Jon is not dead, or will rise again as Azor Ahai. I could go into more detail, but if you are really interested in that, I would suggest reading this essay from Tower of the Hand that spells out the case for Jon as Azor Ahai:

That makes sense, which is why I have trouble believing it is accurate.

I have always thought that Jon and Dany would be the survivors, along with Arya.

I might honestly consider getting HBO just for the months this is on.

Storm of Swords adapted to HBO is going to be absolutely incredible and I want to see the real-time reactions of the uninitiated so badly.
