I seriously thought this dumb shit ended yesterday...apparently not. But since stupidity is running wild... The Peterson argument is foolish because Newsome wasn't the #1 receiver on this play, therefore he wouldnt have been covered by the top corner.

Unless I'm mistaken, it would have been Baldwin on the opposing rcb...a jump ball for a td with a marchup like that should be an easily win for us more times than not.

The fact that Stanzi is throwing to guys that will be bagging groceries in a couple weeks and still almost got a td out of that situation is all that matters.

Last year the excuses for Stanzis suck was the o-line this year it's the WR's. For a guy who's suppose to compare to Tom Brady this is laughable. Then again in reality he's closer to Curtis Painter given that he couldn't even beat out Tyler Palko.

Actually, Stanzi didn't really suck last year. And he's not sucking this year. He just hasn't been consistent, that's all.

I love that we have passionate enough fans to debate a 3rd string QB so vigorously... I also think it is hilarious that we are so homegrown quarterback starved that some see the mirage of Ricky Stanzi and see a starting QB at this time...

The guy who really supports Stanzi is the one most around here bitch about all the time, Pioli.
