Sorry if this was already posted, but i didn't see it. The Microsoft store in Oak Park Mall is selling the basic 360 with kinect for $99 as long as you sign up for two years of X-box live.

that deal is highway robbery. $99 up front then $15 per month for 24 months.

$460 for a $199 console and two years of live you could have purchased for $70 online.

Strapped for cash this week and I've got one I don't have any use for.

Been trying to buy a game for my son on xbox since last night. Keep getting a "transaction cant' be processed at this time" message.
Anyone know what's going on?

I set my son up with a 12 month card tonight and it took nearly 5 minutes for the transaction to complete. Something had to be wrong.

It's like the rent-a-center plan for 360's. I'm sure it will sell well. I just kind of wonder how they plan on enforcing the 2 year deal after people cancel their credit cards or whatnot.

I just got my account suspended for having vulgar language in my motto. It was "DEEPSTROKIN' UR GIRL" and I guess some douchebag reported it.

It's only for like a day so it's whatever but ****. Now I can't even use Netflix!

Yeah, it was RRoD.

It has been laying around in the original box for years. Since it was no longer under warranty I had to pay a nice sum to have it fixed. So I decided to get one of the newer, black ones.

It's against the TOS for Xbox. Not that his particular phrase is offensive to me, there are some kids that throw some pretty nasty shit into their motto, or user name, etc. that I don't need my kids reading.

I think I'd be more surprised if PS3 didn't have a similar deal to report vulgar/inappropriate profile info where users are temp banned, etc. Then again, with it being free, they can just create a new one with no real repercussions.
