I think I'd be more surprised if PS3 didn't have a similar deal to report vulgar/inappropriate profile info where users are temp banned, etc. Then again, with it being free, they can just create a new one with no real repercussions.

Yeah, I can understand why they did it so I'm not throwing a fit in the least. It's just annoying. Highly doubtful that it was a concerned parent or something. I'm sure it was some kid I was talking shit to in a COD lobby and decided to get back at me in the douchiest way possible.

But if you read more carefully, I said I got suspended for "having vulgar language in my motto". Anyone playing in a lobby with me can see my username, but you have to click on my user profile (make a conscious effort) to see my motto. That's why I didn't think what I chose would be a big deal. It actually went undetected for over 2 years.

My username is actually Triggerman, which is quite fitting seeing as how the only game I play is Call of Duty.

I only play one game and I only play that game with one friend. When we play, 100% of the time we're in a "party chat" so it's just me and him. I can't even hear the 12 year olds, although sometimes their bitching is entertaining.

What's your issue with video games, broseph? They're a form of media entertainment. Not much different than movies and television.

No issue. I realize video games have become integrated into the young adult scene for some people. I must have misunderstood you, I thought you said you were arguing with minor children while playing video games and that is why one of them probably reported your motto to the mods.

Nope. I was a Xbox guy until Tiny talked me into going to the darkside. I rarely touch the xbox now. The PS3 just does too much too well. Free is just a plus.
