Rock Center with Brian Williams Doing a Hatchet Job on Mormonism...

How ****ing transparent can the mainstream media be? They constantly run interference for Hussein, and savage anyone who dares speak against their anointed one...

I wonder when NBC or CBS or ABC will do an expose on Reverend Wright's anti-American diatribes in prime time?

This will be the dirtyest campaign we have ever seen. I have no doubt Obama will go to all lengths and find new lows to save his job

Mormonism is a worthless religion if you can call it that. Any faith that refuses to acknowledge Jesus as Holy must have connections with Senator Inhofe, and therefore is cultist.

I have no idea what that even means, that it was "soft pedaled." No doubt that's just one of your many unquantifiable complaints that can't be proven or disproven in any meaningful way.

The Wright story was a story. Romney's Mormonism is as well.

You are simultaneously arguing that Wright's version of Christianity should have been covered more, while Romney's Mormonism should be covered less.

Mormonism is a mainstream religion, the fastest growing religion in america, it's a non-story.

Nobody but right wing kooks cared about Wright, so that says something about your concern about mormons.

I think more than rightwing kooks cared, its extensive coverage across all media suggest you're dead wrong.

Mormonism, despite its popularity, is still pretty mysterious to most folks.

On a side note the rental revenues for Orgazmo might see an uptick.

Sounded like an impartial, objective piece of journalism, so I changed the channel and went in the bathroom and puked.
We saw different shows. You are doing a hit job on the NBC show if anything.

The statements you attribute to the gay guy were from 20 years ago when he first left the church. That was pretty close to the Mormon teachings at that time. What you don't mention that the show clearly demonstrated that the church had softened its positions since then. He has since come back to the church and is the leader of his local congregation in San Francisco. He is celibate and can remain a leader as long as he remains celibate. The guy had a lot of good to say about the church and NBC reported it without bias.

They spent at least 15 minutes stressing the charity work that the church does showing this giant warehouse with all kinds of groceries and other essentials ready to distribute to the needy. You don't have to be Mormon or convert to access this help. That entire segment had a 100% positive spin on it.

NBC avoided a lot of the really crazy theological stuff. None of the people they interviewed who had left the church had an ax to grind. They all had some good things to say about it.

I'm not a fan of Mormonism at all. I came away from the NBC show with a better opinion of Mormonism. It was a pretty balanced piece, a little on the soft side if you ask me. If it were my church, I would have been happy with the overall picture presented.

Extensive coverage, LOL. Where, on Fox news?

There is absolutely nothing mysterious about mormonism. Their history is intertwined with American history, it's pretty much out there for all to see, the good and the horrible, from the beginning to present day. Like I said, you're confusing it with something like scientology.
