2) The DNC leadership decided to re-insert the language (and tacit support of both) into the platform and voted three times before passing it.

3) The delegates made it very clear that the majority of them didn't want it inserted. If they had, it would have passed the first time.

Therefore, the majority of DNC delegates don't want that the language re-inserted because their level of support for both isn't at the level where they would mind it.

Yes, I think that it's reasonable to assume that people who want to remove something from the party platform are now anti-that thing, don't you? At least to the extent that they don't want it as part of the party's platform. I don't even think that is arguable.
