Bill Clinton is such an awesome leader and Obama is no less a leader. Though the times have changed certainly, and though there can be no doubt that both Bush presidencys left huge messes behind, Obama got the worst of it. Only an idiot can even suggest GW Bush was not the worst president in the history of the United States. What makes Obama such an awesome leader is the manner in which Clinton rightfully identified, the way in which Obama has managed hate. What has come from republicans across the nation, through horrible hatred spewing from conservative talk radio, to the crazy gun nuts, and the greed that blackens the soul and wraps itself in the fraud of family values, all of it, demonstrates a desperate movement heading toward extinction. No Democratic patriot has to take anymore from the people of hate who have shamefully harmed the nation and look like idiots in lame opposition of their defense, of 'right height trees'.

I personally would not argue that Bush was the worst of all time, but I'd probably have him in my bottom ten, maybe even bottom 5 if I were more familiar with Presidential history.

I do agree with Clinton's assertion that there was no way this economy could bounce back in 4 years, no matter who was at the wheel.

He addressed both points, for what it's worth. At least in a way.

1. He took the unemployment rate head on. He address the fact that 1/3 of unemployment is a result of a mismatch in the talents of available workers and available jobs. A trend that should right itself in a couple years.

I've posted about that exact same information.

2. Didn't really take the debt question head on under Obama's watch.

He did expose the Romney/Ryan campaign as frauds on the issue, however. Their suggested budget takes the current deficit we have now and further explodes it.

His speech was pretty ****ing detailed.

Here's the real question -- if Bill Clinton had run in 2012 would he have won? I'm hard-pressed to think he wouldn't beat both of these guys.

He would win this time no question. Romney is uninspiring and Obama has lost his luster.

It was an excellent speech as well. As someone mentioned earlier, Clinton laid out their positions more clearly than Obama could even dream of. And it didn't come out as obviously pandering as Michelle's the night before.

I think Clinton would beat Obama if he could enter the race in 2012 as a challenger.

If the roles were reversed, and Clinton was fighting off a recession and the most conservative GOP in a damn near century, I think Obama would win. These current conditions are just hell for governing.

In a fair fight? I'd still say Clinton's the favorite, but he lost by proxy to Obama in2008.
