I'm really rally going to miss having the NHL network on TV.
Of course there night be a lockout anyway so I guess it's moot.

My plans fell through and CP is pretty boring tonight. I don't have any super awesome thread ideas... like I usually do...

Taking a break from the frustration of being a Chiefs fan for a moment and sharing something that was definitely random.
I'm folding clothes whenever I hear the beep-beep-beep that a delivery truck usually makes. I think to myself that it's weird for that type of vehicle to be on our cul de sac that late, especially on a Sunday evening. I walk upstairs, and think maybe it was on the television. Upon taking something back downstairs, our doorbell rings. I'm the only one at home, and I'm wondering who on earth would be there at that time of night. I wasn't expecting anyone, and we don't usually get random visitors. So, as I'm apprehensively making my way upstairs, I hear the outer door open and knocking hard on the door. I'm a little freaked out at this point (again, I'm at home alone and in my pj's), but I slowly open the poor. Out on the front porch were two paramedics and a cop. He asked if someone had called an ambulance. I tell him no in that "I have no clue what's going on here" kind of voice. He looks at me disbelievingly, and said no one called about someone taking prescription meds. Again, I say no in the same tone of voice. He looks at the house number, then at his phone, and confirmed they were at the correct house number. I told him that was correct, but that I was the only one home, and I was just fine. They walked down the steps, and I closed the door. Weird, or what? Still have no idea what happened, but I hope everyone on my street is alright.
