Incidentally, people with mental handicaps can register in college, just like anyone else. My cousin Kirby has a variety of issues that leave him, even with medication, only about two lucid hours per day. My high school friend Kelly's son Patrick has severe autism. I knew a guy in college named Chris who was born with fetal alcohol syndrome. All three finished college against all odds.

Heck, they even shoot themselves in the foot.
