Crazy Day.

I have talked to some friends who work for the Royals, and it sounds like a guy shot a parking lot attendant 3 times and then shot himself. He is dead and she is at the hospital and is bleeding a lot. Her brother is on the grounds crew for the team as well.

The queenmum and & I are getting to head to the "k" in a few minutes. Any problems getting in the lots. (I have CP and cannot park on the other side of Blue Ridge Cutoff & "hike".)

(AP Photo/Reed Saxon)The Royals have a home game Friday night after a shooting occurred in their stadium earlier in the day.

A shooting Friday at Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals, left one man dead and a Royals employee injured, police told multiple local media outlets.

According to multiple reports, the man shot the employee, a woman, before turning the gun on himself. The woman, who was not killed, was then taken to the hospital via ambulance. The names of both victims have not been released.

The Kauffman Stadium lots were closed during the afternoon, but have since been reopened.

The Royals begin a series tonight with the LA Angels, and the team told radio station 610 AM that the 8:10 p.m ET start will not be affected.
