you can honestly say that all his turnovers this season, and lack of skill overall has escaped you?

I spend an unfathomable amount of time personally and professionally around this team and its fans. You are the first one I have ever heard take exception to the work Seth has done. If anything it is Chance to has been playing lackluster. His passes and overall work against Houston were dreadful.

Zach knows what he's talking about. I can agree when he says he spends alot of time around this team and fans. In fact he a one of the biggest fans Sporting has. He also takes photographs of some their games. He was in the lockerroom when they won the Cup.

Sinovic has been just fine. While you may take exception with some of his defensive mistakes, his responsibilities extend beyond just defense. He does very well at moving the ball down the flanks to put in crosses, which is just as big a part of his job considering KC's style of play. IMO, he does a better of job of the latter than Myers does. Myers isn't bad, either. I think the lack of a consistent attack down the left hand side perhaps causes Seth to push higher up the field, leading to more defensive liabilities. Zusi and Kamara seem to overwhelmingly prefer to attack on the right side, which provides more cover for Myers due to sheer numbers. In attacking systems where the outside backs push up to contribute to the attack, you just sorta have to accept that they may, at times, not be as good defensively as the outside backs in other systems. That's why it's imperative to have a great CB pairing, which we absolutely have.

Arsenal plays much the same way, and the left backs haven't lately been the best defensively (Clichy, Cole, Gibbs and Dos Santos love to get up the pitch), but because they act so much more like midfielders, it is acceptable.

I not smarter than anyone else I just know what a lot of people that are smarter than me at soccer often talk about. Feels like to me when Seth does get in a tough spot he closes down pretty quick and can often recover even when his body is not in an advantageous spot to gain and advantage.

Interesting. I have been trying to find teams that play similar to SKC. It feels like Borussia Dortmund play a similar style. I could be offbase though.

No one is questioning his committed time or "fandome". I know who Zach is.

But you don't see me sitting here reciting my "credentials" as a fan. As if that makes my opinion right. I like Zach, but the snob in him comes out when he starts doing that. As if no one else is allowed to have an observation. Even blatantly obvious ones?

Let me be more clear... Seth is not a major liability on defense (except for maybe his overall size and athleticism against bigger faster guys)..I was being harsh with my "despite him" comment. His possession game is beyond horrible, which is what I was originally alluding to. Last year he was much better, that was obviously aided by having Bravo over there on the left.

Wait are you calling him a snob?

Everyone has a right to make a observation. But the thing is on this one you are the only one and that is what he is trying to tell you

not by any means... I tailgate with people before the games that discuss the team all the time... with Convey no longer playing, Sinovic is probably the central complaining point... other than the inconsistent shooting of the entire team across the board.

Sinovic is a complaining point behind Bunbury, Zusi (though he's doing so much better), Meyers, Convey, CJ...

You might then start bashing Seth's work.

Seth has never made me mad and I never even notice him that much. This is a good thing. I think everyone has played decent. I am suprised that Ceaser is getting so much playing time down the stretch and Nags has been solid. Yay SKC

I think Gibbs is more defensive than people give him credit for. He's disciplined at least. And Santos is just a bizarre player. He'll even drift inside from the left, providing no width.

Great win vs. Thuggy Henry and the Red Bulls. Kinda bummed to think that Callum Williams might be right. We play better on the road. Wonder why that is.
