If this were important, the Mainstream Media would be reporting on it. Apparently it's not so shut your racist piehole

I wonder if Stephen F Hayes aspired growing up to be a propagandist.

So, at first they gave a statement based on what they knew at the time. Later, with new information, they revised the statement. Holy shit--worse than Watergate.

Speaking of incompetence... WHY is no one focused on the fact that our PRESIDENT went on 3 campaign stops the days immediately following the MURDER of a US Ambassador on US soil? Can anyone give me a valid reason that this is not being discussed in the media? I guarantee it would be all over the place if this had been Bush neglecting his role as President during a crisis. |

When you get nothing but lies and BS from the piss stream media and obama's administration for the past 4 years, why would you expect this to be any different?

No, the facts are that they distract and obfuscate the fact that Al Queda is continuing to organize and execute attacks and so far, they always characterize it as an isolated incident and/or, in the case of the embassy attack, and understandable response to something that "we" did. Lying about the seriousness is the default. they knew this was not about the video, just like they lied about the guy with the car bomb in Times Square being an isolated individual, and they lied about the underpants bomber the same way. Even with the bin Laden raid, the story was heavily massaged in the initial characterization of what happened. There is really no reason to believe the statements coming out of the White House on anything related to al Queda or the Muslim brotherhood spring or anything else related to the war-on-that-which-we-can't-mention

errr...why would the Administration even lie about this? What possible difference could it really make?
I'm tending to think it has more to do with the usual issue of having to speak based on insufficient facts, and then realizing that events aren't as they were first understood to be. Heck, some of the "blatant lies" are beyond stupid to make because they are so easily proven/disproven (the 2 SEAL guys being part of the security detail, for example). Lying about something that is easily disproven is beyond stupid.
