ANyone else still want to TANK the season for a better draft pick?

Say the words, and join my ignore list:

"we should tank this season for a better draft pick"

*************************
Let this thread stand as a testimony to traitors
and cowards who, at a time of peril , chose to
abandon the fight and wish upon our great, and
holy Chiefs, to lose games and give up the fight.

By shunning them and making their words vanish
from the computer screen, we say unto them:

WE WILL WIN

We have not given up the will to fight. We are not
sackless, gutless weasels who run crying home to
mama to suck on her stretched out floppy teet
when times get rough.

We shun you, and your words are now gone from
our lives, never to waste our time or energy again.
We acknowledge that your only purpose is to troll,
and cause disharmony, and therefore the best way
to deal with you is to banish you from the pages of
history.

For once, get the best quarterback available that you think best fits your system. Not the one at the best price, yada yada.
We hope.

I think it's inevitable.

I think we need to worry more about who we pick instead of what picks we have. We're in the position we're in because we've drafted poorly and not because we haven't had high enough picks...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Between the joke of a franchise I've lived and died with for 30+ years sucking the life out of me, and the stories I'm reading about the replacement officials butchering games, Im confident I'm making the right decision.

After all, it's my choice to be a fan. I found my clue.
You'll regret it after we move into first place this weekend.

I want them to try to win still. I still have the short-term desire to watch a competitive season and have some fun. Still, had we lost against the Saints, I would have been okay with it as it would keep us on track for the more important long-term goal.

It's almost as if the hunts lost some kind of bet wayyy back in the day that said they couldn't ever have a good quarterback or something.

It's really ****ed up how much talent this team will waste if that doesn't change.

I was rooting for 0-16. But since that isn't possible anymore, I'm down with 1-15. This franchise needs to clean house.

Though this next draft seems to be deep at the QB position, there are a lot of "Not so sure" QB's. I mean last year you had Luck and RGIII.

I mean is Barkley the real deal? I know he was a highly touted recruit, but I mean how many failures have come out of that program? The only one that's been halfway worth a shit is Carson Palmer...and his NFL career has been "eh" other than a couple good seasons. Sanchez, Cassel (though he never played while at USC), Leinart and now Barkley?

Then you look at the past 6-7 seasons and look at all the talent around those QB's that have come in and played well in the NFL, and you wonder why USC really stands for Underperforming Signal Callers. Was it the talent that made the QB's?

USC has the best WR core in college football this season. All I've heard about Barkley is that he's a horrible decision maker. That's funny, because that's exactly what Sanchez, Palmer, Cassel, and Leinart are.

Same with QB's coming out of Oklahoma. I don't think Bradford will be anything special really and he's been the best one to come out of OU for quite some time. Landry Jones is an overrated piece of garbage. Geno Smith doesn't have an NFL arm. Which arm strength is overrated...but not really. Guy has no velocity. He's accurate, but I wouldn't take the guy in the 1st rd. Bray, Wilson and Murray are probably IMO the best "prospects" with the highest ceilings, but they're extremely raw.

I want the Chiefs to draft a QB high and groom him as much as the next guy. I sure as shit want Cassel replaced. (I wouldn't mind him being a backup, he's perfect for that IMO). But if you're selling the damn farm to move up for some rookie QB, considering we'll be drafting somewhere between 10-15 - you have to be damn sure you got close to a can't miss guy, like Luck or RGIII.

None of us truly want to see the Chiefs lose, but tanking may be the only surefire way to get Pioli out.

We're not winning anything of importance until he's gone.

Actually you stupid ****, I am alerting you and all cowards that this IS a god damn war battle. That is exactly what this is.

Everyone who wants to lose is on one side....those who want to win on the other.

Take no prisoners.
