Sorry man... Romney destroyed Obama in the debate. Remember the objective is not to change YOUR mind... it's to sway the undecideds.. my guess is that he will see a solid 3-5 point bump in that demographic. Of course that could easily be erased by a 2nd debate.

Don't be sorry. I watched the entire debate also. Romney showed very well. I just didn't see this total domination that several of you see. Like I said, I think the Republicans are happy that he went toe to toe with the President and looked "presidential".

So I'll ask you Kyle since you're a fairly intelligent fellow: On what points/issues did Romney destroy Obama in your opinion?

ACTUAL points? nothing that really matters but that is never the purpose of a debate like this. I could go on and on about where he was right and someone could argue that he wasn't, etc etc... but what MATTERS is how he will be perceived. Romney destroyed Obama on perception. He came across as strong and most importantly, KNOWLEDGEABLE. People who were on the fence will be swayed by how he seemed to know far more about how the economy works and job creation. One could argue that it isn't true but that is how he CAME ACROSS.

In a real debate you get judged on two things... "winning" rounds and your speaking points. No one is really going to care much about the "winning" rounds in a debate like this... speaker points is where your truly win.. and Romney killed there.

It's not an impression. At 34:23 into the debate, Romney literally kicked Obama in the gut, and a small amount of stool departed from Obama's anus.

I look at it like this. If you truly believe that there are a large portion on undecided voters, than I would gladly say Romney probably "won" because he was more aggressive and direct in his debate of stances/policies. However, Obama played the safe card to not make any enemies, which he did exactly. This is what many who are in the lead position would do, so I don't really see Obama as "losing" this debate since he won't be "losing" votes.

So we agree. I thought the debate was won by Romney. Just not total destruction. And Kyle, we have to talk about these RANDOM capitalizations THAT you do. TOO much like SOFIESTY and MEMYSELFI. You gotta LOSE that.
