***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Zuerlein plays in the NFC. I have no idea if he was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week or not.

Succop isn't as good as Prater or Zuerlein. Maybe that's why we're having so many problems.

Until your kicker wins a few AFC Special Teams POW awards, you have no hope.

It goes nicely with the AFCW Defensive POW award Tracey Porter grabbed. Now we need an Offensive POW to bat the cycle.

Peyton Manning ranked fourth by ESPN’s Ron Jaworski

NFL analyst Ron Jaworski for ESPN updated his quarterback rankings Thursday, and has kept Manning at fourth-best in the league.

“It was the past six quarters he’s played that kept Peyton Manning at No. 4 for me,” Jaworski said. “I wasn’t sure what we’d see as he returned to the NFL, but it’s clear that he is back.”

Peyton’s younger brother, Eli, jumped ahead of him to No. 3.

A win in New England could move Manning up in the list as Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is currently the second best on Jaworski’s list.

We are good enough to beat teams like that though.

The encouraging thing about the past few weeks is Peyton Manning looks like, well, Peyton ****ing Manning, and we have a much easier schedule the rest of the way.

I have never been more optimistic about a 2-3 Broncos team in my life. We got the Chargers next week and if we take care of business we will be atop the division.

Well that sure gives me some perspective.... I'm guessing you had to make up a new word to add to the optimistic scale. It's like hearing Barney say that today is the best day of his life. Well, what else is new.

The Broncos are 2-3 ... they've lost to 3 good teams, 2 on the road. That being said, if I'm to expect something big from Denver this year - you gotta win one of those games.

So, I'm keeping my expectations where they've been ... they'll end over .500 and probably win the AFCW - but, it won't go much beyond that. There's just too much 'bend and break' with the defense and they can't continue to get killed on big 3rd down and long situations. That's been happening for far too long.

The offense will be fine - they need to stop the issues in the first half, whether it's a problematic turnover or a slow start.

I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the season and not get bent out of shape either way.
