Denver's 3 losses are to the 3 best teams in the league (and 2 of those games were on the road) and we were in all of them at the end.

We are good enough to beat teams like that though.

The encouraging thing about the past few weeks is Peyton Manning looks like, well, Peyton ****ing Manning, and we have a much easier schedule the rest of the way.

I have never been more optimistic about a 2-3 Broncos team in my life. We got the Chargers next week and if we take care of business we will be atop the division.

The Broncos are 2-3 ... they've lost to 3 good teams, 2 on the road. That being said, if I'm to expect something big from Denver this year - you gotta win one of those games.

So, I'm keeping my expectations where they've been ... they'll end over .500 and probably win the AFCW - but, it won't go much beyond that. There's just too much 'bend and break' with the defense and they can't continue to get killed on big 3rd down and long situations. That's been happening for far too long.

The offense will be fine - they need to stop the issues in the first half, whether it's a problematic turnover or a slow start.

I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the season and not get bent out of shape either way.
