Fox News: Fair and Balanced?

Every news site on the internet has the 7.8 unemployment news as its lead. Fox is burying it and surrounding it with right wing propaganda. How can you someone who only watches Fox news be well informed? Does anyone really think they are fair and balanced?

No it doesn't. Balanced doesn't mean unbiased at all.

MSNBC makes no secret of their Liberal slant. They advertise it for crissakes.

Fox News is the one claiming to be fair and balanced. We just report facts, you decide.

I don't think it's possible for someone to remove bias. Even if you're more subtle it can come out in the way a headline is structured, or the types of photographs that are used, or even things like color schemes when doing stories about the candidates or voice inflection when reading a news story. People are generally biased, so that's going to come out.
I don't watch FOX but from what I see they're less subtle. Of course they're biased. I think almost all conservatives know that. For a long time, though, it seemed like liberals were reluctant to admit that MSNBC is their biased opposite. I think that most liberals now admit MSNBC's bias just like conservatives understand FOX's.

They say, "Lean Forward." "Forward" implies that it's not slanted to the left or right.

It's like the blows Romney landed on Obama gave BRC, Drekshun and a large percentage of his supporters head trauma...

not from Fox news....

The employment data was too much for some people to take in. Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch tweeted: "Unbelievable jobs numbers..these Chicago guys will do anything..can't debate so change numbers." I'm not sure that kind of carefully considered opinion will burnish his reputation as a business leader
