***OFFICIAL VP DEBATE THREAD***

A little early but I was just sitting in the park this afternoon when a small group of runner's came by me and it was Ryan running along the waters edge. They were running a pretty damn good clip. A quick pace for a jog that's for sure.

WTF is he doing his debate prep in St. Pete?

On Saturday night Romney held a big rally about 1/2 mile from my house and right across from where Ryan was running.

Biden does 90 minutes of Frank Rizzo, then smiles and shakes hands like that candidate in the FedEx commercials,

Ryan finishes strong...but is it enough to turn a toss up debate into a Ryan win?

Will be interesting to see the post debate focus groups/polls.

Very even debate. Ryan may have stolen it at the end, but there was no knockout either way.

Did the kid ever get anything worse than a C after this rule was implemented? Not a chance.

I'm not saying it's morally right or wrong, but does it make the child because of it? Think about that for a second.

I... STRONGLY... disagree.

Lehrer was pathetic, ineffectual, and did nothing to stop people from blabbering on with their empty, no-information, all things to all people, talking points.

Martha stopped both candidates in their tracks and forced them to answer questions they perhaps didn't want to. Its bizarre to me that what you are describing in an ideal moderator, was embodied by the moderator you didnt like.

I didn't watch it all but Obama got 4 minutes more than Romney and to watch Biden cry about time seems rather immature

Everybody on Twitter is criticizing Martha for being so bias.

Another win for Romney/Ryan ticket.

They ought to but Biden in a Joe Isuzu commercial!

I'm assuming it was like smiling, cheerful exchange in Major League. "Stay away from her." "Suck my dick."

I am dubbing this the "media" debate. Most Americans are going to wait to let the media tell them who won and what was said because they aren't going to be able to tell.

IF I had to call a "winner" I would say Biden by a nose... he made himself look like an ass but he isn't running for President, so that isn't going to hurt Obama. Ryan didn't look like an ass but he didn't help himself either. Biden wins because Ryan didn't keep the Romney momentum alive. My prediction: no bump for either side but it halts Romney's growth where it is now until after the next debate (which of course could go either way).
Not sure I would call it that way....although I wouldn't argue too deeply against it.

I think Biden's manner probably turned most people off....what you will see is those who support Obama saying Biden won and those who support Romney will say Ryan held his own.

It would be interesting to see what a "true" undecided voter feels about this debate.

I think the debate is closer to a tie..which most of the media will call a Biden win. But I think Ryan may win some points with the voters, who may view Biden as being full of hot air.
