Title says it all. Heard on the Danny Parkins show this morning on 610 that Danny has an unnamed Source that he trusts. The source says ***** has been told win at Tampa or his tenure is done in KC.

Can we really be this close to our goal?

Well we've had a rumour about ***** being extended and ***** being fired after one more loss. They're both probably just not true. not saying I dont want it to be.

Yeah, I don't see it. Even IF this is true - or even partly true - I don't expect ***** to actually lose the job until the end of the season. Would Clark really fire him immediately?

This isn't a situation like coaches where you can fire one and see what his replacement does or how it affects the team. Firing the GM doesn't do the team much good considering how long it will be until we replace said GM. Who does the scouting until then? A guy that knows he isn't getting the GM job? That seems silly. I just highly doubt this could be real.

Actually, it's a special exception in KC because ***** doesn't have a College Scouting Director.

If you fire ***** after the season ends, you pretty much **** yourself over for the draft. If you hire a replacement today, you can still get a new GM that can collect enough information leading into the 2013 draft.

I don't know. Just trying to see a bright side, but I'm skeptical.
