How about the poor girl, was it Deborah, that happened to come through a gate and therefore had to be sacrificed to Yahweh. No Israel, he was a boy, but go ahead sacrifice that girl. I am a child of the Enlightenment. So Enlighten me. How do you edit when Yahweh gives orders or not. Think New Testament gets off the hook. Is the Bible literally true or not?

If so, that means God ordered the killing of all of the men, women, and boys of the city of Midian, and (via Moses) he told the Israeli soldiers to keep the virgin girls for themselves (again, presumably to rape them).
