Geno Smith fans roll call

NEW THREAD HEADER (11/17/12):

The list is gone. We will all be Geno Smith fans when he gets drafted by the Chiefs. For historical documentation's sake, I'll keep the list in a separate post on this thread: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=3314

WHY GENO SMITH?
If you're wondering if Geno Smith is right for you, check out this brilliant post by Saccopoo:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=5388

Next, we have a few GIFs you may be interested in from the Oklahoma game. Insane potential. These are the elite throws that very few QBs can make. What more can I say? Geno Smith can be a franchise QB in the NFL, and the Chiefs need to take a shot on him.

GIF #1:
Spoiler!

GIF #2:
Spoiler!

GIF #3 (My favorite):
Spoiler!

HOW DO WE GET HIM HERE?

Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story.

Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno
5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert

I'm not sure about Geno. When WV got behind he kind of just faded away. KC needs a leader at QB. I don't really see him as a top 10 pick. I'm not even sure he's a first rounder.

This seems like a bad year for QBs and that sucks because we really need one. If I had to pick, I would take Wilson if I had my choice. I know this probably isn't the popular choice but, it's the way I see it.

Need more evidence on Geno. Realize I am in the minority, and my opinion could change. But TT is not that good, and Geno was pedestrian at best.

not offended, just pointing out that your warped sense of QB value would preclude us from ever drafting one...

and even if you were right, i'd rather 'reach' (so risky!) for a QB than any other position...as it is far and away the most important position

but we'll continue along not 'reaching' (too risky) for QBs while drafting DL and pretending somehow we'll accomplish something...

The Tony Romo, Vince Young, Mike Vick backwards hat thing bothers me. We need a grown up at QB. Our QB needs to be a leader. I think Smith is smart but, he's not a leader imo.

Chill out Talking Can. Everyone has an opinion.

this isn't the place where everyone with an opinion is special and gets a gold star for participating...

and if you think Smith is not 'intelligent' then you need to be beat to death with an aids hammer...

You can't? Thats why you resort to name calling and stupidity.
Get bent. "You're not representing Chiefs fans very well, Talking Can." Says the ****ing racist.

No, I'm not joking. Black people talk differently than white people, so I guess that means Geno sounds stupid to you? Do some ****ing research on the guy before you call him stupid. He's actually quite brilliant.

No wonder you suck at evaluating QBs. The eyeholes in your white sheet weren't big enough for you to see properly.

I know he's a smart guy and was in gifted classes as a kid and what not. I'm not saying he is dumb. I am saying he has got some leadership issues and hasn't grown up yet. Wilson seems to be the only real leader out of the bunch.

How about YOU provide some evidence that he's not intelligent, you retard? Instead of just hearing him talk and assuming he's stupid.

I'm not going to do your homework for you. That's what made you this ****ing stupid in the first place.
