Not exactly.

Moderators are there to keep things timely and move things along.

First debate was dominated by Romney interrupting the progress of the debate.

Then throughout the rest of them it was all interrupting this and interrupting that. They've both got 2 mins to make their initial case and then however much time to followup/respond to their opponents accusations. Once that time is up their mics needs to be shut the **** off. I don't want to hear Romney stepping in over the moderator when they are trying to move on to the next topic or Obama chiming in in the middle of Romney's time.
