Foreign policy doesn't but the economy does and happens to be the Royal Flush in Romney's hand.

Does it matter? Absolutely
Does it matter with these 2 idiots? No difference I should add the only positive difference is on Romneys side, because if he's president the media doesn't see us dropping bombs of love or loving the shit out of someone with a drone. They will attack him relentlessly because he has an R next to his name. So i guess in that sense Romney is a better choice.

If I had to chose solely based on foreign policy it would be Obama. He certainly would be much more willing to seek diplomatic solutions and less of a war monger than any republican that is put in the white house, but I still have been disappointed with Obama's foreign policy efforts. I thought he had more of a Libertarian view of foreign policy. But, if he wanted to get re-elected it was necessary politically.

I posted it because Romney agreed with Obama's policies.

Someday we might get a president who invades a country that had not attacked us and posed no real threat to us. The invasion could lead to a 10-year war costing a couple trillion while at the same time cause us to neglect and underman other simultaneous military actions. Sounds far-fetched, but it could happen.

Of course they agreed more in this debate than the others. Was anyone expecting Romney to say he wanted ground troops in Syria or Iran? Was anyone expecting Obama to throw Israel under the bus?
While they agreed in principle on many things, I think they disagreed on the tone of Diplomacy...I envision Romney different as chief diplomat than Obama has been, despite the fact they both want the same results when it comes to Syria and Iran.

Congress has chosen to ignore its responsibilities, so of course the president is the most important factor.
That's not meant to say, however, that there's much of a difference between these two. |
