Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

You should be able to get 7.62x39 for around 18-22 cents a shot.

7.62x39 used to sell 5000 round bulk for next to nothing (almost .22 cheap), but now that everyone thinks AK's are cool shit the ammo has skyrocketed.

My father in law gave me an SKS about a month ago, and I have not even shot it yet.

Have you picked up an AR yet? Palmetto Armory has uppers on sale for $269 right now if you are interested.

I went to the gunshop today and they had the ioi ak replica made here in NC... it felt cheap to me... I want a Norinco AK , I will find one I want soon around here, I don't like that FFL shipping shit. I did buy a Taurus cia 850 .38 special for 275 bucks

Does anyone have experience with a Recon Scout:

My "problem" is whether go grab an Armalite AR-10T or save up and wait for a Scout. I already have an AR-10 20" standard and AR-15 24" bull that I can easily drill 500 yard shots with, but it might be time to reach out some more. I shoot at my parent's farm that has unlimited range.

I know the Armalites are awesome, but any input about the Scout would be appreciated. The T model AR is $1500, and the Recon Scout runs 2500 for the chassis and another $1200 for a .308 barrel and $1500 for the .338 barrel

Thats a bad bad deal. If it was a Russian Tula Id say it is an ok deal & have him toss out the ammo & see if he would take $375 for the Tula But since it a Chines even with the ammo hes $125.00 to 150 high IMO
