It's despicable to accept and advocate discriminating policies against other people over how a word is used. Be a man. Get. The. ****. Over. It. Christians don't own the word marriage. Quit being the asshole and using your religion as a means to discriminate against other people.

For the record, the State issues "marriage" licenses. Not the church. Churches aren't even needed any more for anything other than appeasement of simpletons like yourself to feel some touchy feely bullshit of being married in their church.

And Christians have no moral right to claim any superiority over others with the values of marriage. Considering the divorce rates of christians and how they act in those relationships, they should quite frankly shut the **** up about what is moral and what isn't.

It is not a shock, but finding a black person against Obama is like finding a gay republican. They exist but not in large numbers~

I posted here it was going to be a tough battle to convince Christians, when the tradition of marriage has been around for centuries. It is what it is. Remember Chik-fil-a? If you want to get mad, get mad, there is not a darn thing I can do about it but go with my own beliefs and traditions. I have that right. You can try to change things, you have that right too, but don't get mad and denigrate people, you'll get nowhere doing that.

They are idiots. How does a "Christian" justify not voting for someone on the basis of gay marriage, but voting for someone who disagrees with them on some of the basics tenets of Christianity? Hell, its not even like Obama himself is gay married. He's just thinks it should be legal. Romney disagrees with some Christian basics about Christ himself.

You like to twist things just like a good agitator. I've told you I'm not the biggest Romney fan but judging by his debate performance, I am willing to give him a chance. That IS a glimmer of hope because I would crawl over broken glass, to vote the disaster that is currently in the White House, out of office.

Maybe they think that gay marriage has something to do with government, and the basic tenets of Christianity have nothing to do with it. Just a wild guess.

you're using religion to discriminate, are you not?

a state issues a license, but can you or anyone sign it and make it valid?

divorce rates don't invalidate marriage.

...if you think it's ok, why aren't you in a gay relationship? doesn't effect anyone, right?

Not really sure what you mean. But, in the video they said it was a slap in face to all people of faith. I'm talking about those types of people.

You are seriously asking the question that if someone is ok with gay marriage, why don't they get gay married?

If you don't understand why the question is stupid, then you are way too ****ing stupid to understand any type of answer. But anyway, here it goes--because the person isn't gay.

I don't like broccoli either--doesn't mean I think it should be illegal or care if other people have it.
