Perhaps. My point, though, is that when someone says Oregon beat USC on the road, it doesn't carry quite as much cache as it did a few years ago when USC was on the top of football. They're simply not at that level right now.

I agree that the SEC is overrated actually. The top is ELITE, then the bottom sucks. There's not much middle ground.

They're way better than anyone else though...

I don't think the top tier SEC teams are overrated. Bama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, South Carolina and A&M are all tough as ****.
