**2012 Sporting Kansas City\Soccer Thread**
Sporting Kansas City was eliminated from MLS Cup contention after losing to Houston 2-1 aggreagate over the span of two games. They finished the year as US Open Cup Champions and a Kansas City team record of 63 points.

That's how it works in the Champions Cup League... that format isn't unique to MLS.

That's how soccer is played all over the world, ergo the way it's done in the MLS. I'm not saying it makes a whole hell of a lot of sense, I'm on your side of it and think it should be 2 out of 3.

An INCREDIBLY poor performance from Sporting. Passing was sloppy-at-best, the players seem to worry more about blame than cohesiveness, and they're allowing Houston to dictate the tempo. Houston's confidence is well-earned and it will translate into their play on Wednesday, I'm afraid. Very frustrating

This piss ass performance is turning me off to soccer once again. I try to get into this sport but over and over I see the dumbest rules that negatively effect the game in my opinion.

I apologize if you thoght I was "talking down" to you. I didn't know if you realized it was a home and home thing.

I do agree though that it makes roughly as much sense as a monkey ****ing a football, or futbol if you prefer.
