I actually also tend to be fiscally conservative and socially liberal. the sad thing is, it's hard for me to get behind any politician from either party. I love obama's stances on social issues, hate his stances on fiscal/health care (though I'm not completely against socialized health care/true health reform). I agree more with romney on the economy, but hate a lot of his (and almost all republican's) stances on social issues.

Human rights can only be protected by a stable government. A government that is broke is, by definition, unstable.
