Why doesn't Chiefsplanet use @Chiefsplanet?

There are plenty of VBulletin add-ons for twitter, where each post that gets x amount of replies or views gets tweeted, right?

I'd totally enjoy seeing tweets from Chiefsplanet coming through my sports tweet feed. http://twitter.com/chiefsplanet

Maybe you could get a couple of CPers to reply to mentions? Flopnuts or SureOz or someone?

But, if you could automate the tweets with set filtered parameters... so that the thread needs to trigger some set level of popularity before it gets tweeted...

The Ghost of Kurt Cobain or Tom "Shut Yo Mouth" can't come in post a thread and also spamming twitter.

Especially since SaveOurChiefs has thousands and thousands... CP should have a few instead of 2, right?

I'm pretty "meh" on that one. I wouldn't something that auto-posts stuff to Twitter for sure, and I question the value of someone just reposting stuff on there to try and drive traffic. If people like it here, they'll stick around. If they don't, they don't.

IMO, ChiefsPlanet is a kickass discussion board. No need to try and be a social media empire. That's never been the goal.

(But that said, I just pretend to have some say in macro issues like this.)

I know he can be obnoxious sometimes, but he's been the first to post a vast majority of major Chiefs news lately (e.g., Routt being canned, Romeo stepping out of DC, etc.).

Which is a problem in of itself. I have the douchewad on ignore so I don't have to read his retarded posts, which makes it difficult to read the OPs of the threads he starts. I'd be fine if someone else posted them. Same with that other ****tard who thinks it's "kewl" to cram as much softcore porn as possible into everyone of his posts, but yet seems to start a lot of Chiefs threads.

That's fine and all. But I would be willing to bet his tweets(?) have been more wrong than right. It just bogs down the board with rumors, which is fine and all for awhile. It just gets rather redundant.
