***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

There are a bunch of CBs who are playing better than Champ right now, but he'll still likely get in nonetheless.

The familiar faces always get voted in. Long and Thomas are household names among the NFL's LTs. Clady, while a good player, is not.

Also, Jake Long is the top vote-getter among the AFC's OTs.

Guess the average NFL fan doesn't give a shit about Clady's awesome year after all.

Trindon Holliday wasn't on the ballot until a few weeks ago. And yeah, coaches know who Holliday is. He had 3 returns for TD's in the preseason and has two return TD's the past two weeks.

Some of the Carolina players were telling DT after the game that they were amazed at how fast Holliday was.

Clady is a big name in the NFL, he has already been to two Pro Bowls and made an All Pro team.

Yeah, kind of sucks for Tony Carter. 2 defensive TDs, allowing 3.6 yards per pass thrown his way, but there's no way he gets to the pro bowl.

But Clady? 2 pro bowls and a 1st team all pro? He's not exactly unknown.

It's votes that count, asshole. Can you honestly say that with the fans only putting him at #5 in voting that the players and coaches will select him as the ONE kick returner for the conference?

Doubtful. Very doubtful.

Long and Thomas > Clady in terms of fame.

Evidence? Look at the votes. Long's having a crap year and leading the entire thing.

I'll make a sig wager here with any Donk fan who wants it.

If Clady gets in to the Pro Bowl on the first wave (meaning he can't be a replacement for an injured guy or somebody choosing not to participate) you can put whatever you want in my signature until the end of the regular season.

If Clady gets snubbed, I get your signature until the end of the regular season.

ProBowl still has a nice ring to it but I can't remember the last pro bowl game that was actually a game. Or actually worth watching.
Better to replace it with a pro bowl on player's hot wives and a game of bikini football on the beach in Maui. They could have a first string and a second string with alternates rotated in for injured pro bowlers. And by injured I mean those who are on the rag on game day.

Ask Gadzooks if I pay up on my bets that I lose.

But also ask him how much I like Terrance Copper, because that's what going in your signature if you lose.

I'll take it.

I'll be torn though, because I'd certainly like Clady to get in as #1 or 2, but it would be fun to have a Copper sig.
