Following that logic, Self should have benched every single player that played in that disgusting first half. Except that's no way to coach a bunch of players that you're going to need in the future. They need to learn to learn to deal with adversity.

Releford can make that shot. He also needs to make that shot if KU's offense is going to be successful. He shouldn't be discouraged from taking open ones.

Self put Releford on Cobb and Travis shut him down. So much so that Self made sure and sub for Relaford at the same time they sub for Cobb to make sure that Cobb didn't start hitting all those 3's again.

Bitching about Withey or KU for that matter getting away with calls is like crying about the Broncos getting away with calls.

I didn't think it was that bad of an officiated game save the clear goal tending they let KU get away with in the 1st half.

Losing Manning will hurt to some degree, but I am assuming you are talking about the freshman. This was only their 2nd "real" game, 4th overall. You can't make that determination so quickly.

As far as Withey goes, he's just in an unfortunate spot. He really needs an athletic scoring big opposite him to be effective on the offensive side of the ball.

Yeah, KU is struggling right now. Just can't get the production out of the bigs that they need, which is putting more pressure on the guards to hit from the outside. KU has always been an inside/out team under Self - right now they are still trying to find themselves.
