I don't think Penske has run a NASCAR team for 40 consecutive years, though. He was there in the '70s and then got out for a while; I think he got back in in the late '80s/early '90s with Rusty Wallace.
He certainly wasn't winning any titles in those underpowered Ramblers he ran in the '70s...
