I would put KSU ahead of Georgia for sure.

I want the four best teams, period. If Florida didn't get into their CCG because of a tiebreaker scenario, that doesn't definitively mean they aren't the best team in their conference.

If UCLA beats Stanford, does that make them better than Oregon?

It appears the only people who are for the conf. champ only model are fans of teams who are in weak conferences that wouldn't get in otherwise. They don't care about the 4 best teams playing, just the 4 best teams from separate conferences. Lame.

The thing is it's very difficult to compare teams that play in different conferences. So we can know for sure who the best team in each conference is and then let them play. Makes perfect sense to me.

No, you're right, it doesn't. But we'll never have a perfect system for figuring out who the undisputed better team is under every scenario. I prefer to leave it up to each conference to figure out the best way to produce a champion and then let the champions duke it out for the national championship. Your preference (for the four best teams) isn't illegitimate, it's just not as good as mine.

What about only playing 1 or 2 OOC games, play the 7 teams in your division, 1 rivalry game vs other division.

Top 2 from each division make conference playoffs the 4 teams play to determine who makes the conference championship game, those 2 play and the winner goes to the National Playoffs.

That should filter it down to 4 pretty damn good teams.

It's a simple concept. At the end of the season and after all conference championship games the top 4 teams in the BCS move on to the 4-team playoff. Brilliant! Anyone who feels a 4-team playoff shouldn't include the top 4 ranked teams either doesn't have a brain or isn't using it.
