Todd McShay Mock Draft

Todd McShay ‏@McShay13

http://es.pn/XTcpqq First Mock Draft of the pre-draft process. Only 1 QB and he's not going to KC. Have at it...

Kansas City Chiefs

Record: 2-11
Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah

This might turn out to be a simple case of bad luck for the Chiefs. They're a year too late to cash in on the Andrew Luck/Robert Griffin III bonanza, and there doesn't appear to be a 2013 quarterback prospect worthy of the No. 1 overall pick. I would have to think West Virginia's Geno Smith would be the choice over USC's Matt Barkley if the Chiefs go that direction, but at this point I think they go elsewhere. Kansas City already has spent first-round picks on the likes of Tyson Jackson and Dontari Poe, but needs a defensive tackle who can hold ground while also providing more pass-rush ability. Lotulelei will never be an elite pass-rusher, but he is strong against the run and has the quickness and power to collapse the pocket. He could become a mainstay in the middle and be good for five to seven sacks per year.

I'm convinced these ****tards only project sexy picks to teams that they like.

"Larry Fitz deserves a real QB, so he gets Geno... Ohhh, but then I gotta wait all the way until #8 when he goes off the board... can I predict a trade up? No, not this early. Shit. Uhh.... well, I guess Kansas City can take another defensive lineman. I don't think they've picked any of those in awhile. Cleveland will take an offensive tackle. Yeah, they need a lunch pail kind of guy to stabilize that offense, yes, good. Umm... okay, I think I can make this work. Excellent! Geno Smith to Larry Fitz! Sexy!"

Pretty typical that when the Chiefs FINALLY get the # 1 pick in the draft - there is no "can't miss" QBOTF...

2010 was the worst thing to ever happen to this franchise. Everything got pushed back a year and we miss out on Luck/RGIII

How many times in the past 20 years has there been a "can't miss" QB?

Basically Todd McShay knows Scott Pioli is a giant dumb****.

His mock is probably true if Pioli is here.

Sadly, if Pioli stays, im not convinced he would take a QB. He would probably do something like this.

I'll wager that if I searched for a rundown of your posts, a form of what you just wrote would take up more than 50% of everything you've posted since the season started.

Seriously. Shut the **** up.

huh?

Throwing the deep ball is what Smith does best ... if his YPA is terrible it would be because our receivers are slow as shit, not him.
