The only sad thing I see is someone who has done as instructed by politicians - hate another "group" of people because they are told to do so. Do you have a "I am part of the 99%" T-shirt too?

Class warfare rhetoric works well on you.

If there is class warfare, it's coming from the uber wealthy. "Let them eat cake," led to some appropriate poetic justice in France a couple of centuries ago; and it took Teddy Roosevelt (a real Republican) to lead the charge to fix it here. Hopefully, there will be another T.R. that will come along before gated communities will need to hire security 24/7 to prevent plunder by the mob. But if not it'll be fun to watch.

Is it class warfare when you walk past a beggar on the street and choose not to give him money?

Obamacare’s fix for an American health care system that the federal government long ago broke, is to give the federal government far more power over American health care; that its solution to escalating health costs is to mandate greater health benefits (and, hence, higher costs); and that its solution to the pricey overreliance on pre-paid health plans — offered by insurance companies in lieu of real insurance — is to have the government require Americans to buy those pre-paid health plans under penalty of law.

Differences of degree is a nuance that right wingers don't seem capable of grasping.

So is it or isn't it? What does degree have to do with this?

But let's deal with the degree issue. If you walk past a line of 100 beggars without giving any of them money, is it class warfare?

Your wealth is 100,000 X's greater than the average citizen of Jakarta, Indonesia.

I'm going to sit back and laugh when and Indonesian mob burns down your house killing you and your family.

Sounds fun, huh?

Of course not, quite being obtuse. The difference is....as in the early 1930s, in society when 25% of people are unemployed (and more than one-third are directly impacted) and another 25% are underemployed and seeing declining puchasing power....it's a recipe for revolution. The question in our republic is....will it come at the ballot box (for now, so far--so good,) or will it take something more ugly?

Only income inequality when it affects you, I see. Your President thinks the world incomes should be leveled out. This means you are rich. He will take your wealth and provide programs and grants to third world countries. I'm sure you are on board with this.

I was informed here that Marie Antoinette never "Let them eat cake." She said "Let them eat brioche!"

Actually, no one knows who said either, if anyone did at all.

Either way, the problems that led to the French Revolution was massive inflation used to finance the former King's wars, including his involvement in the our own Revolution. People couldn't afford to eat unless they were rich. So if you're truly concerned about the plight of the working man, you wouldn't cite a revolution that was the forerunner to proletarian democracy or the "centralized, totalitarian, managerial, pseudo-democratic despotisms that now reign over the West," you'd be targeting deficit spending and our central bank which is the real culprit in the so-called income gap increasing.

Even the so called "Arab-Springs" were fueled by food becoming unaffordable to the average Mohammed. Afterall, Keynesian central banking is now global.

Now you're arguing something different. I'm not interested in the potential for violence or revolution right now. I'm interested in whether or not we're talking about class warfare. If it's not class warfare for you to walk past a beggar on the street without giving him your money, why are you calling it class warfare when the "uber wealthy" don't want to donate their money to benefit the lower classes?
