I had columbia house for cds when I was a kid.
I fulfilled the terms of my agreement and cancelled in the specified manner and I did not have a problem.

Columbia house still exists?
Can you still get 7 CDs for a penny?

This.
Obsolete company selling a product that is slowly becoming obsolete. I bet trying to cancel will be a pain in the arse. I'd stay away.

That was my first thought as well. I don't know how many times I took them up on their offer back when I was a teen, but it had to be 5 or 6 times. Never did buy anymore CD's. They would always send out threatening letters, but would never follow through. I looked at them as the 2nd coming of Santa back in the day.

In 5-10 years they will be doing Blue Rays, so you should probably get in on the ground floor.
