There are many things that annoy me around here but the first that comes to mind are all the people who aren't FAX who insist on addressing other users as "Mr. username." That's a FAX thing... it's not your thing (unless you're actually FAX) and it's ****ing annoying and stupid when you do it.

I would apply this complaint to DC more broadly, since I've spent more time there. Fun place for discussion but so much of the forum is just a playground for people looking for an outrage to express at the drop of a hat.

I think that we need to collectively remember that we're all here for the same reason and that some people are better at conveying their thoughts and opinions than others are. We don't need to play grammar police or act like Rudolf Hess just because someone is a "n00b". Give these people a chance, and they may turn into solid contributors.

Other than that...LOVE CP!

Great post, but in fairness, the planet isnt NEARLY as overtly hostile as it used to be.

I think the overall quality of most conversations has went way up lately, i believe a lot of it has to do with the fact that everyone is getting older, maturing, and no longer feel like flaming people to death with the same fervor they used to.

"Beatdowns" still happen, but they dont last as long, people tire of it a lot faster these days.
