Mel says Mike Glennon will be the first QB taken in the 2013 draft and he could be picked in the top 10. He says alot of things could and will change as the draft approaches but as of right now he thinks the Chiefs should trade out of the top spot if they can and if they can't they should take Luke Joeckel with the first pick. He also say the Jaguars should trade down also but if they can't they should take a DE with their first pick.

I'm going through his Twitter feed. He reposts all the hate talk...awesome. Most of it has to do with the Chiefs taking him. This guy is going to come in with a chip on his shoulder.

Kiper's probably partially right. I bet Glennon does go in the first round, and possibly in the top 10.
It's become painfully obvious that without a plus player at QB you can't win in the NFL. This makes every team that doesn't have one desperate to get one. Thusly, QB's will rise up the chart and leapfrog more 'day one ready' players because they are MORE IMPORTANT.
No ILB is more important than a plus QB.

"JaMarcus Russell is going to immediately energize that fanbase, that football team -- on the practice field, in that locker room," ESPN's Mel Kiper said at the time. "Three years from now you could be looking at a guy that's certainly one of the elite top five quarterbacks in this league. ...You're talking about a 2-3 year period once he's under center. Look out because the skill level that he has is certainly John Elway-like."

McShay, though I don't like him, has actually beaten both of these guys for the past 4 years as far as accuracy goes.
