Mel says Mike Glennon will be the first QB taken in the 2013 draft and he could be picked in the top 10. He says alot of things could and will change as the draft approaches but as of right now he thinks the Chiefs should trade out of the top spot if they can and if they can't they should take Luke Joeckel with the first pick. He also say the Jaguars should trade down also but if they can't they should take a DE with their first pick.

It blows my mind ANY Kansas City Chiefs fan would want to draft something other than a QB at number 1. If you are one of those fans, you need to look in the mirror and ask yourself if you pay attention to what happens in the NFL. If your answer is yes, then you are a complete and total ****ing dumbass.

When agents are announced for these guys, pay attention to who they are. It's been noted that guys like Kiper pimp certain guys over others based on which agents they have a relationship with and get fed info from...

Locker? Ponder? Dalton? In hindsight, Kaepernick is likely to be a very good one, but you're full of shit if you try to claim you were on board with taking him in the top 5.

I mean hell, look at how loaded the top of that draft was. Miller, Green, Peterson, Jones, Smith and Watt are all insanely good. Newton is clearly the only person that belongs in that class of players and even then, Miller, Green, Smith and Watt are arguably more valuable. And Mayock was hardly alone on not like Newton.

What I'm trying to say is that he really didn't miss by much, did he? He believed Gabbert could be developed to overcome shortcomings that he clearly identified - it didn't happen (and the Jags are at least partially responsible for that).

It wasn't a JaMarcus Russel will be the next Elway style ****up...

This. I think Mayock is one of the better ones when it comes to talking about QBs.

Basically all Kiper/Mcshay/Mayock do is look at measurables.

They cannot however measure the intangibles like leadership, heart, determination, etc.
