Hunter type folks: where to buy a bow?

Huntersfriend.com looks like they have some amazing packages. Is there a better option locally?

You're right TW.

Arrow control is important or else you're more likely to miss or shoot your big brown eyed prey in the guts and have to chase them for hundreds of yards.

Vic's, BB and Rogers all have good reviews online what I saw.
Vic is very knowledgeable and will not steer you wrong. She is "good people".

Mike at Carter's is known as "Crackers" in the archery industry. He is one of the best string builders and bow tuners in the country. Not everyone likes his personality, but if he's working on your bow just shut up and let him work his magic.

I wouldn't put to much faith in Rogers, but their prices can be good.

I'd try to buy local so you're able to get service when needed instead of letting some retarded big box store moron work on your bow.
