I think Hunt is telling the truth. I think if Pioli stays, it will only be for 1 more year. Think of all of the dynasty teams...they were all lead by coaches who had full control of their team.

I think, or I would at least like to hope that this is the direction we're going....maybe it has a lot to do with contact fulfillment. Does Hunt have to pay Pioli an "early termination fee"? Bring in a coach to have full control. Have Pioli do the paper work and ride out his contract.

If Pioli says in any capacity, Clark's ****ed.

He'll lose the fanbase.

Aren't your hands tired from all the wringing at this point? There is absolutley no point to wondering whether Clark is lying; he's going to so what he's going to do regardless of the nasally, high-pitched worrying that goes on on the internet.

My Q from another thread:

If Hunt finds out that Pioli is leaking information to the media, I would imagine that Fat Scott could be fired for cause. Therefore, I doubt that chowder-smelling **** is doing any talking.

Wouldn't it have to be in his contract for that to be grounds for firing with cause? Come on.

I don't think so. Direct order from your boss and you defy it in as public a manner as possible?

There is no doubt no end to contractual language that would cover insubordination.

I would think it would have to be in writing.

How are you going to prove he breached a verbal contract?

I can understand people being concerned that Pioli isn't outright fired. I don't know why. But, to ignore the owners own words is silly. Pioli isn't hiring the new coach, he isn't scouting players, he won't be talking to the media in any form, meaning he is not director of football operations, and is powerless. Again, I don't know why he's still there, maybe Clark likes him wants him to take a smaller job in the organization, maybe it's about money. I don't know. When asked about Pioli's future, Clark said there are more changes coming.

It's pretty stupid to believe Pioli is just a man in a suit, imo.

He's getting paid no matter if he's fired or not.

To me it's very smart to hold on to Pioli until alot of the changes have been made. Just think about it. Pioli has been scouting for the team, has all of the inside information about the teams plans that even though he would be gone, the information would be very detrimental to the teams plans.
That is probably why he put a muzzle on everyone until they get their pink slip. He needs to keep Pioli on the sidelines until certain decisions are final. I am confident now that Pioli is gone when no more damage can be done.

Bullshit.

Keep the scouts and select members of the scouting department during the transition period but there is no reason to keep Fat Scott.

The "inside information" he has resulted in 2 wins this year... that "inside information" is toxic nuclear waste. It is worthless.

The scouts are all Pioli cronies. Some of them reportedly don't have a ****ing clue about how to scout players.

I wasn't talking about Scott's plans, I was talking the information Pioli has on Hunt's plans.

On top of this. With him putting the muzzle on Pioli, if any of the wrong information gets out (from Pioli's mouth) will be a reason to fire him without pay.
