I'm cautiously optimistic, about Andy Reid, but I have my reservations. Clearly, he's a major upgrade over the last two HC's. In that regard this is a huge win. He's a coach that values the QB position; also another major plus. We'll see what happens, but I'm pumped. I'm excited to see Clark go out there and get the guy that most regarded as the #1 prospect.

I just received a written transcript of a portion of the negotiations in Philly last night. It is as follows:

Last sticking point was.......Reid wasn't going to finalize and sign the deal until ***** was fired because of the language in *****'s contract that he had control of player personnel.

That's not true.

Clark could not hire Reid without ***** signing off on it. ***** had control of all football moves in his deal. Reid had nothing to do with that aspect.

***** would have easily sued Clark for a breach of contract which would have resulted in a lot more than the money he was owed.

That was the concern.

Just what the radio guy emailed me. Take it for what its worth. I still don't trust the guy. If your information is from the guy you know personally...... I'd believe that.
